Peddana is a transitional serif typeface designed by Appaji Ambarisha Darbha in 2013, supporting both Latin and Telugu scripts. Developed for news publications, its precise forms make it ideal for text and headings. The Telugu characters were crafted in Hyderabad by Darbha, while the Latin version builds on Charis by SIL International.
